Mandaviya said India’s pharmaceutical sector, dubbed ‘the world’s pharmacy’ by the government, will serve more domestic needs in the coming years, while also meeting global demand.

He said India’s competitive advantage over other countries is price competitiveness and quality.

“For us to remain the ‘pharmacy of the world,’ the quality of our pharmaceuticals must be uncompromising, our products must be affordable and competitive in the global market,” he said. It has to be something,” he added.
